This statement applies to schoolconnectionintelligence.co.uk. Newscast Media Group Ltd is responsible for the website and is committed to making its services accessible to disabled people.
Current compliance position
The website has been designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 Level AA as its target. It has not yet completed an independent, full-scope accessibility audit, so we do not claim formal full conformance.
What the website is designed to support
- Keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators and skip links to primary content.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, tables and meaningful link text.
- Responsive layouts that adapt to mobile, tablet and desktop widths.
- Text zoom and reflow without relying on hover-only interaction.
- Reduced motion preferences and high-contrast focus treatment.
- Plain-language explanations alongside technical or legal terms.
Known limits
Long legal and evidence tables may require horizontal scrolling on very narrow screens. They are contained within labelled sections and remain keyboard accessible. The downloadable data-governance PDF is not currently a tagged PDF; the same substantive information is available as structured HTML on the data-compliance page. Some linked third-party pages and source documents are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
Because independent assistive-technology testing is not yet complete, there may be barriers we have not identified. We will not describe the site as fully compliant until appropriate testing supports that claim.
Request help or another format
If you need content in a different format, such as a simplified explanation, structured text or an accessible copy of a document, email chris@schoolconnection.co.uk. Please identify the page or content and the format that would help.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days and explain the next step. Complex remediation may take longer, but we will keep the requester informed.
Testing and review
Accessibility is reviewed when major templates, navigation, interactive functionality or document formats change. This statement is reviewed at least annually. A future independent audit will record the sample, assistive technology, test method, findings and remediation status here.
